Joining a club or society is a great way to experience University. Clubs and socs add vibrancy to student life and enhance the sense of community and spirit on campus. They’re a great way to learn new skills, enjoy timeout with likeminded individuals, have some fun times and get more out of university life.

There are a huge number of clubs and socs to get involved in, covering a diverse range of interests including academic, performance, spiritual, general interest, international, cultural and political clubs. There’s something for everybody including, Drama, Rugby, Netball, Techensoc, Soccer, Amnesty, Fire Poi, Young Labour, Handball, Omani, Meditation, Golf, Debating, Martial Arts and a host of others.

So jump right in and see what these fantastic clubs and socs have to offer, and how crazy your social life can get - from fire dancing to cocktail parties, from debates to coffee and cake, from BBQs to productions, from gigs to annual balls - there's something for everyone! Try things you’ve never done before but wished you had, don’t be shy. Massey clubs and socs invite you to join in the fun. Get involved now and experience student culture for yourself.

You can join up on Clubs and Socs Day early in the Semester (make sure you venture down to Concourse and sign yourself up) or just turn up to a club/soc meeting and say hello. If you can't find something you're interested in, start your own club or society! It’s easy, contact Eimear and she will help get your new club or society off the ground.

This year will undoubtedly unveil another exciting year for clubs and socs at Massey University. Whether it’s playing for Team Massey at Uni Games, writing a play for the Festival of New Arts, hosting a workshop, learning a new sport or debating against the local MP during Student City Arts Week … Clubs and Socs are the way to kick start the fun.

Go on get involved!!!
