CHAFF is a free weekly publication produced by the Massey University Students' Association and spelt in CAPITALS. It is distributed across Palmerston North's major tertiary campus as well as at selected locations in the city when we have access to a car or a bicycle or hovercraft. We rarely have access to a hovercraft.

CHAFF is by the students, for the students… of the students, because we love students so much. And we’d love for our love of you to become a love of us but also a love of you again in some kind of crazy mutual love thang simply by you picking up a keyboard and writing for the paper. There are 26 issues of Chaff printed weekly throughout the year (about 13 of them are usually pretty good!) featuring news, features, interviews, games and photos of people in various states of undress. Also obscure and alienating gags and in-jokes! But not if you’re in on the joke! (see above)
