MUSA Shop
MUSA provides a shop on campus for your convenience. The shop stocks everything from food to lab coats. You can also purchase phone cards and get your photos developed. The MUSA shop also makes a mean milkshake!
MUSA has a shop on campus for your convenience and to provide competition for Bennets and DNL (Catering company) in an effort to keep prices as low as possible.

Events Centre
MUSA jointly owns and runs the Events Centre (the building where orientation is - way out the back and beyond behind the recreation centre). This is available to hire or for clubs to use. Bookings are done at the recreation centre.

Recreation Centre
MUSA jointly owns the Recreation centre. The recreation centre is one of the best gyms in Palmerston North and because it is subsidised with your MUSA fee it costs you very little to join.

Orientation and Events
MUSA runs the Orientation events every year as well as producing the first year magazine, student diary, wall planner. MUSA Events also put on competitions and lunch time entertainment though he year such as Winterfest, capping week, graduation ball, Muvimac, and loads of other fun events.

Clubs and Societies
MUSA look after the multitude of clubs and societies on campus. If you are interested in joining or starting a club or society then check out our website or visit the MUSA office or check out our Clubs and Societies page .

Capping Week
During graduation week MUSA puts on a graduation ball for all graduates to attend. We also help serve a champagne breakfast to the graduates and graduands.

Theme weeks
Throughout the year MUSA puts on various theme weeks which usually entail events and displays on concourse. Typical theme weeks held each year include: Health day, sex week, disabilities week, women's week, no diet day, environmental week, pride week, international week etc.

Discussion Forums (Meetings)
Many times every year MUSA holds general meetings. Our AGM is held in March each year with various SGM's held throughout the rest of the year which we really encourage students to come along to. Every week we also have an executive meeting which you are welcome to come along to. Check out the MUSA library for detailed info about all of these meetings.

Community Events
Every so often MUSA puts on a community event. Most recently we hosted a set of seminars on the treaty of Waitangi.

MUSA produces an accommodation guide so if you are looking for a place to rent, flatmates, a place to board etc. then check out our accommodation guide. It is available from MUSA reception and from our accommodation page

Accommodation Service
MUSA own about 40 houses, which we let out to students at a cheap rate. MUSA believes that doing this helps keep the rent in Palmerston North low. If you are interested in renting a property contact Knight Frank property brokers (cnr Princess and Ferguson St). Our houses are located on Ada, Bryant, Church, Worcester, McGiffert, Carrol, and Bourke St.

International Insurance
You can now get International Insurance up at MUSA!

Massey University makes available only one insurance policy, which can limit your choice. MUSA believes International Students should have choice which policy they choose. MUSA make available other policy options AND every cent of commission we get off selling insurance goes directly back into international students.

Wise words from the manager
MUSA provides a variety of services and advocates skilled at making your time at Massey University fulfilling and enjoyable. MUSA is an organisation run by students, for students.

The Executive provide us with the resources to best serve your needs and all profits we make go back into extending the range of things we can do for you. Our office is open every weekday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and the friendly staff know where and how to get help for any problem you may have. As well as the MUSA shop, your Association produces Chaff every week during semester and Control 99.4FM all year round.

The MUSA Events Coordinator organises Orientation and campus entertainment for your enjoyment. We also run an accommodation service for the best flats and houses in town. MUSA reception and the office are located on the second floor of the Students Association Building and can help you with photocopying, typing, binding, faxing, e-mail, etc., and we sell tickets to all MUSA functions.

Bookings for the BBQ, meeting rooms and PA equipment can be made at the office. If you are lost, not sure where to go, how to get there, or need some help or advice; come and see us at the MUSA office and we will do our best to direct you to the right place.
