To foster the fair, speedy, and informal resolution of disputes at Massey University, and an academic culture that will prevent such grievances.

What Is A Grievance?

A Grievance means any complaint, which a student has against the University and/or a staff member because of a claim that they have sustained some form of disadvantage.

What Is The Dispute Resolution Procedure?

The Dispute Resolution Procedure is a process established by the University to identify and resolve disputes involving students and members of the University staff or provision of services to students by the University.

Jurisdiction

The Student Grievance Procedures are distinct from, and may not be used with respect to any questions relating to the following rules, regulations, statutes, or procedures of the university including:

At all times the procedures will be carried out according to the principles of protection of persons, statutory protection and due dispatch
